IMAGIKA Completes Work On New Album

September 17, 2007

San Francisco power/thrash metallers IMAGIKA have issued the following update:

"IMAGIKA album number 6 is done! The band just got back from Sweden and Sonic Train Studio where we mixed the CD with Andy '180' La Rocque [KING DIAMOND guitarist] (the bastard said he'd only bowled three times in his life!). The CD started a month ago in L.A. at Blue Turtle where we did all the basic tracking. The schedule was tight but we got it completed with one day off before heading to Gothenburg. Of course, since everything went well in L.A. we all got sick, including Andy. Constant shitting, puking, hacking snot and drinking were daily activities so it made for a pleasant stay! Good part is the CD came out sounding great! Is it our heaviest? Our best? That's for those who hear it to decide which should be in spring '08."

Entitled "Feast for the Hated", the new IMAGIKA CD will include the following tracks:

01. Your Creator
02. New Power Rises
03. Thinning Out The Herd
04. Bleed as One…..Appease The Gods
05. Feast For the Hated
06. Behind Immoral Eyes
07. The Sick Sense
08. Fear & Doubt
09. Waking a Dead Man
10. Succubus

IMAGIKA recently signed a new record deal with Sleaszy Rider Records for the release of their "My Bloodied Wings" CD in Europe. The album will be repackaged and issued on October 26. The CD will include the bonus track "Haunt Me" and feature complete new cover art by IMAGIKA drummer Henry Moreno. The original version was released in North America by Crash Music in July 2006.

IMAGIKA has recruited guitarist Noor LaCroix to replace Pat Toms, who left the band last year.
